    IFAP

Survival Craft Inspectorate offers lifeboat training in conjunction with IFAP in Western Australia.

The training facility is situated adjacent to Fremantle Port with easy access for the crews of the 1,100 ships hosted annually by Fremantle Port and the additional 2,000 ships that pass through WA’s six regional ports.

We have installed a 5.9m freefall and 7.5m conventional lifeboat at the IFAP training centre, with launches performed in the safety of an enclosed harbour location.

The facility offers accredited lifeboat training, including coxswain courses and half-day lifeboat passenger courses.

The courses satisfy SOLAS, STCW95 and offshore lifeboat training requirements, and courses can be attended in conjunction with FRC training courses as well as BOSIET, FOET, TBOSIET and TFOET offshore survival training courses.
