The design of the SURVIVALCRAFT® range of lifeboats draws on many years of experience gained by the founders of Survival Craft Inspectorate when they were carrying out repairs and maintenance on competitor's lifeboats. The design brief was to ensure that SURVIVALCRAFT® lifeboats are designed without compromise to guarantee maximum reliability in the harshest marine conditions and yet have the lowest possible lifetime ownership costs. This design philosophy is evident in every single component, from the smallest nut and bolt, to the choice of diesel engine and the release gear.
