Client Onshore Support Coordinator

The role involves working as part of our client support team responsible for ensuring products and services provided to our customers, are of the highest quality and standard.

Applicants should hold a minimum of 5 years oil and gas experience in a similar client support role and hold a Mechanical Engineering Qualification.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and General Manager.

Key Responsibilities Include:

 Client focal point.
 Planning and scheduling of client servicing.
 Attend client meetings.
 Prepare engineers work packs inline with work scope.
 Brief and debrief engineers in line with work scope.
 Provide onshore technical support to clients and offshore engineers.

Project Engineer

Due to continued growth we are seeking a Project Engineer preferably with a mechanical engineering background. Familiarity with project management tools is also desirable.

Purpose Of The Role
To take managerial/engineering responsibility for projects ensuring they are managed in a highly professional, safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
Through efficient planning, scheduling and resource management ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
To manage multiple projects and in doing so support client requirements from start to completion.

Principal Accountabilities
Ensure that the commercial content of every project contract is reviewed for acceptable payments terms and accurate costing. Also to ensure payment milestones for third party inspection are tied to “on acceptance” and not “on certification”.
Ensure that Quality Control, Technical and Documentation/Certification requirements defined in any contract /purchase order are adequately reviewed and the Project Team members are notified of the requirements.
Maintain a close working relationship with the Client Representatives with whom you need to interface with.
To attend Project planning meetings at least once a week to ensure effective communication between the operations, materials and finance departments. Details required include: Status of live projects, Invoicing Status, and Projects Tender Status.
As part of the Projects Team ensure all project invoice requests are processed in an accurate and timely manner and passed to the finance department for invoicing.
As part of the Projects team liaise with the Operations Team with regard to the need for any Service/Operations/Personnel involvement and participation in any Project work.
Ensure awareness, familiarisation and compliance with the requirements of the QHSE Management System, controls and processes.

Materials Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced professional Materials Manager.

The role will involve working with our various internal departments to deliver a 1st class service to our expanding client base.

Key Responsibilities Include:

 Purchasing – Spares, consumables.
 Stores Management.
 Material logistics.
 Management of Hire Equipment including certification.
 Development of department team members.
 Working closely with other departments on material delivery.
 Supply Chain Management.
 Create opportunities to generate additional revenue and margin.

Our ideal candidate will have a number of years experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.

Experience working with Sage is desirable but not essential.

Technical / Mechanical Trainer

We are currently looking to recruit a Technical and Mechanical Trainer to assist in teaching apprentice engineers at our SQA approved training school in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Applicants should have the relevant experience and qualifications in teaching technical/mechanical engineering and should hold a SQA Certificate for vocational Verifiers D32 / 33 and Internal Verifiers D34

Houston Base Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Manager to be responsible for the business development and project delivery aspects within our Houston operation.

They will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing customers, identifying business opportunities and managing the response for both bid and project delivery.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good level of Commercial awareness, excellent sales skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others within a team of administrators and marine engineers.

Applicants with a good knowledge of the Offshore and/or Maritime industries prefered.

Senior Service Engineers and Service Engineers

We are looking to recruit service engineers to work on survival systems on oil & gas installations as well as ships and cruise vessels worldwide. The work will include the inspection, repair, servicing and maintenance of lifeboats, davits and winches as well as other life saving equipment. The ideal candidates will have a mechanical engineering background with previous offshore experience.

Apprentice Machine Operator
and Apprentice Mechanical Engineer  

Reporting to the workshop foreman.

Apprentice positions are offered for potential applicants with two or three years machining or mechanical experience through college or other. These positions offer the opportunity to complete a formal qualification in machining or lifeboat engineering.

These roles will include CNC machining of company and client products / refurbishment and conversions on Lifeboats including bench-fitting duties.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

Yard Assistant / Handyperson

Reporting to the Materials Manager and General Manager.

The Yard Assistant / Handyperson will be responsible for the maintenance, general upkeep and tidiness of the yard / grounds and buildings.
Other duties will include assisting stores and materials personnel with acceptance and storage of deliveries.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in forklift operations, a driving license, lifting/slinging experience or previous handyperson experience

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
